I need your help! I’ve launched a fundraiser on behalf of @MachanofSodor to purchase him a 3D scanner and publish scans of all his faces. Here is a link to the GoFundMe; gofund.me/39d38759

The SVRs 60th anniversary was a great day out, despite a lot of diesels about. I'm a western man at heart, but you can't best seeing Scotsman in steam!

Thank you so much to everyone who recognised Rheneas (and me) at Awdry Ex this weekend, I had a great time chatting with you all! The staff and volunteers should be very proud of the incredible weekend they put on!

Hi guys !! If anyone has won anything from the prop gallery lot and they’d be willing to work with me to get it 3D scanned, please reach out to me by messaging me on here! I really hope this auction can be a great opportunity to build our library of resources.

1/ Here’s something I’ve wanted to release for a long time: a folder of 3D scans of all my face casts is now public! drive.google.com/drive/folde… Huge thanks to the donors who helped me get a scanner, and to my friends who provided the castings (thread below)🧵

Wales never disappoints! I've finally made it to the Ffestiniog railway and got to see a double Fairlie. I highly recommend it, beautiful views all the way up the line. Good thing I didn't see Prince, or I'd probably be starting Duke when I get home!

Here's a quick video I edited together on my phone that shows Duck running on a full size layout.

Very proud to reveal everyone's favourite little diesel, Rusty! Like Rheneas, he's made from brass. Hardest part was the radiator, a 9.5mm chunk of brass that had to be cut to shape and have a hole cut through it! Now Rheneas has some help running the line. I wonder who's next?

Had a lot of fun at the Spa Valley Railway today with @TomsProps and @gauge1sodor. It was amazing seeing the props in person and getting to meet everyone at the event. Looking forward to day 2!

Had a fantastic day at the Talyllyn railway today, my first time! It was lovely meeting you all and riding along such a picturesque line. (btw sorry and thanks to @sprinterveg155, who I forgot to credit for Rheneas's vinyl cutting last time)

Back from his overhaul, here's Rheneas! Build entirely from brass, he was a very different process to the rest of my replicas. It can be unforgiving but brass is very satisfying when it all comes together. Now the gallant old engine has at last really come home!

"He has cowcatchers and sideplates, i'll write to his controller at once" Here is my Gauge 1 Toby and Henrietta. This was a tricky build for me, and I spent a lot of time getting Toby's two-toned planks to look right. Ultimately I couldn't be more proud of the finished model!!
