I don't really have the words. My man Covey showing us all how it's done every damn time. Absolute perfection dude.
"He has cowcatchers and sideplates, i'll write to his controller at once" Here is my Gauge 1 Toby and Henrietta. This was a tricky build for me, and I spent a lot of time getting Toby's two-toned planks to look right. Ultimately I couldn't be more proud of the finished model!!

This is such a great result. Loved being a part of the process and discussion. Fantastic job Jack knocking it out of the park as always
"North of the island there lives a dear old train, A little tram engine, Toby is his name" Here's my replica of one of my favourites, Toby! Made from acrylic with styrene strips and the planks from Tenmille trucks, he was really fun to build, but painting him was a challenge!

And to think there was a time when states had to announce that it wasn't legal in their particular state. Breaks my heart that the norm has shifted. It's made that some can tout pro choice to avoid gun control but then ignore it to tell people what to do with their bodies. Insane
Abortion is legal in California. It will remain that way. I just signed a bill that makes our state a safe haven for women across the nation. We will not cooperate with any states that attempt to prosecute women or doctors for receiving or providing reproductive care.

I hope all my friends and followers have had a wonderful Christmas and will continue to enjoy a safe and happy festive season. My creative output has been severely lacking this year due to various factors not least the pandemic but I look forward to putting that right in 2022

So many quality creative projects have come out on here this year and it's served as a huge inspiration to me, and I can't wait to create again. It's been a huge thing that I've sorely missed but as my mental health and general situation improves, so will my output I hope!

Merry Christmas everyone, here is my James the Red Engine replica! I spent a long time getting his red coat as glossy as possible, much to his delight. This is a special reveal to me, as James was my childhood favourite. I think these photos do him justice, don't you?

Important point in case anyone is building a 3D/physical model of Gordon using photos of the perspex model from the last event. The tender axleboxes won't be good reference as they're close but not 100% substitutes as the originals were all missing from the model. 1/2

I'm hoping they turn up at some point in the near future in which case the temp attached subs can be replaced. I just don't want anyone using the current photos of it thinking they're good photos of the original axleboxes, which I know there's scant reference for.

These are awesome. Quite a few of these ruler shots that have dropped I hadn't seen before. Especially these ones of the different stations all set up. Pretty damn cool.
These are the Knapford Station model orthos.

Anyone who wasn't able/didn't want to go to the Clearwater event, I can't imagine there was anything on public display that Alex didn't get a decent shot of so this should be your first stop.
Finally gone through all my photos from Clearwater. I hope there is something for everyone! About 700 images in total. Enjoy!! drive.google.com/folderview?…

What a weekend. Thanks to Luke @Expl_Cookie for the invite and for putting together a great event. So many highlights but it was great to talk to so many people, some I already knew and some I didn't. Any visit to the Talyllyn is always a pleasure but this one was special. 1/2

2/2 The biggest highlight for me personally was the opportunity to spend so much time with the awdry family. Their very vocal approval of the display, layouts and event is something I and I'm sure the others will treasure. It was a surreal experience in the best possible sense.

It's funny seeing this because it's been the reverse for as long as I cna remember with other things. Things like power rangers and pokemon were the cause of alot of British kids putting on or genuinely adopting American accents at school etc. It happens.
Peppa Pig has been revealed as the culprit of giving American children British accents. American kids have watched so much ‘Peppa Pig’ during the COVID-19 pandemic that they are developing English accents and using English slang. (Source: wsj.com/articles/peppa-pig-a…)

Yes I know I'm old, but the original power rangers and pokemon were the latest fad when I was in school. I wouldn't know what today's equivalent would even be lol.

Weird to think an office building sits slap bang in the middle of this photo now, the entire area has been relandscaped to the point of no reconigiton. The only remaining feature is the gasometer which is part of an asda car park now.

These are phenomenal. It was both alot of fun and a privilege to be part of the design process. Jack is very talented and fun to work with. The final result is just outstanding. Well done mate!
"What are your names?" "Donal' and Douggie Sirr" After long last, here are the twins! They were a challenge, but a fun one. The hardest part was making them match, especially the gloss black, it hides no crimes but I'm very proud of the result. The Scottish twins are here!
