Not this person's fault, but this is part of what so pisses me off about these constant IP for IPs sake doomed franchise starters. When they flop, it's not "Welp, audiences didn't want another Tron, Robin Hood, King Arthur, He-Man, etc." but rather "Movie theaters are doomed!"
Unfortunately, the theater era appears to be on its way out.
This movie would've been profitable in like 2017.
But post-COVID viewing habits combined with the expensive cost of theater tickets and the inconvenience of audience members without theater etiquette make waiting for streaming the sensible option.
