I say this with gritted teeth, but Peter is right.
Thereās a lot of stupidity in sports discourse
None of it approaches the level of stupid that comes from talking about basketball.
I just canāt imagine watching a league with more talent than itās ever had and concluding a team with a historic playoff point differential and a handful of the greatest comebacks the sports has ever seen and concluding they won a participation trophy championship.
Get a life.
On this day in 1996, Michael Jordan won his fourth NBA championship on Fatherās Day.
The live broadcast cut to the locker room after MJ was already on the floor. The cameras stayed on him for 37 seconds as he cried, before the cameraman was eventually escorted out.
Packers edge defender Barryn Sorrell, who had a big-time Week 18 game at Minnesota, spent about a month-and-a-half working out with Micah Parsons.

I know people hate him, especially in Milwaukee, and I understand, and I know the lowlights that are going to be sent in response to this but whatever
Heās very, very good.

Thereās some truth to this scene. I think @Jason1Goff used to say on the radio that some people would look at their moms sideways if Jordan told
Them to.
I never understood this scene as a kid but you eventually grow up and realize, everyone is so in love with Michael Jordan that theyāre willing to throw a game so he can get a hit.
"I mean you look good when you strike out, man. When I strike out, man, it looks nasty, man"
I always loved that part
Timestamp it. More than #NIL,
more than whatever is drummed up as an overarching issue (like total eligibility or the portal), more than super conference secession (not succession), the Big 12ās fight vs. Brendan Sorsby playing for Texas Tech will shape college footballās future.

As Jim Harbaugh might say (CC @by_JBH) Jordan Love is great with a capital G. The numbers all say so.
So what does he need to do to lift the Packers back to championship glory?
The devil, is in the details.

Perfect moment
Been friends with someone who is a Knicks fan since we met. We were probably 12 at the time.
All heād ever dreamed of was seeing this moment and I wouldnāt blame him if heād given up at several points through the 20 years weāve known each other
FaceTimed last night with tears of genuine joy.
That type of stuff is what can make sports so special.
