دولت سوریه اعلام کرد آموزش زبان کُردی با الفبای لاتین در چارچوب یک فرمان جدید وارد نظام آموزشی این کشور میشود. این اقدام در راستای بهرسمیت شناختن کُردها بهعنوان بخشی از بافت اجتماعی سوریه ارزیابی میشود.
این تصمیم پس از صدور فرمان شماره ۱۳ سال جاری از سوی احمد الشرع، رئیس دولت انتقالی سوریه اتخاذ شده است. این فرمان جایگاه فرهنگی و زبانی کُردها را در چارچوب کشور سوریه تثبیت میکند.
وزارت آموزش سوریه اعلام کرد تدوین برنامههای درسی و آمادهسازی معلمان آغاز شده است و کلاسهای زبان کُردی در هر منطقهای که شمار کافی از دانشآموزان متقاضی وجود داشته باشد برگزار خواهد شد.
مقامات آموزشی افزودند انتخاب الفبای لاتین به دلیل رواج گویش کرمانجی در میان کُردها در سوریه و وجود منابع آموزشی پیشین بر همین مبنا انجام شده است. به گفته آنان برنامه درسی پایههای اول تا ششم مطابق با استانداردهای آموزشی آماده شده است.
این وزارتخانه همچنین از اجرای طرحی برای یکپارچهسازی کادر آموزشی و تعیین سطح دانشآموزانی که پیشتر خارج از نظام رسمی تحصیل کردهاند خبر داد.
