Bengals OTA takeaways Tuesday:
* Joe Burrow looked sharp in 7-on-7s, completing a nice sideline route to Ja'Marr Chase and a deep ball to Tee Higgins down the right sideline, beating Dax Hill and Jordan Battle. Higgins said the key to the play was using "late hands" to conceal the ball's arrival
* On the first play of 7s, Dax Hill broke up a pass for Andrei Iosivas and then the Bengals defense played volleyball, with Yoshi, Jalen Davis and Bryan Cook having chances to haul in the ball before it fell to the ground.
* Erick All Jr. says he's fully healthy now after returning from a third ACL surgery on his right knee. He says the joint was initially compromised by surgery at Iowa in 2023. He tore it in 2024 and needed more procedures in 2025 to stabilize it. But on Tuesday, he was getting significant reps in 7s as he looks stronger and stronger. "He loves football, and he loves the physical portion of football. The word ‘physical’ in the dictionary is a picture of Erick All trying to put his face through somebody’s soul, and that’s the best way I can describe him," said Zac Taylor.
* Colbie Young was working with Joe Flacco early in individual drills. He made a nice running grab in the end zone.
* Sean Clifford was alternating with Joe Burrow on the far field to open practice while Joe Flacco and Josh Johnson were on the field closed to the ramp.
* DJ Turner went to India in April and spent some time getting to know the country. Says it nicely complemented his meditation in the offseason. As far as his contract talks, he staying out it and letting his agent handle things. He remains optimistic that a long-term deal will get done.
* Ja'Marr Chase gave great credit to the front office for trading for Dexter Lawrence II, a deal he didn't think was going to happen.
* Tee Higgins wouldn't be opposed to playing flag football in the Olympics but still would need to think about it.
