We welcome another hip hop heavyweight 🥁 @jakeuno - the alias of Jake One - brings a DJ-focused approach to instrumental hip hop, blending drums, dusty samples, and grooves with an underground club tone - shaping the mix live in 𝗱𝗷𝗮𝘆 for iPad 🔥 With deep roots in classic hip hop production, his sound sits somewhere 🥽between beat tape culture, trip-hop, and dancefloor-ready edits. This is the kind of bat flip that makes the old guys who used to call into radio stations demanding more playing time for Willie Bloomquist die a little inside
Ms broadcast missed it so here’s the Naylor bat flip

Winning a Grammy 🏆 is an achievement of a lifetime, and is by no means an easy feat to achieve. Even being nominated carries great weight in the music industry as only a handful of artists, producers, and teams, are chosen as possible nominees. @JakeUno isn’t new to a Grammy nomination having been nominated 13 times before winning for his contribution to @theweeknd “Star Boy”, and chops it up with @DonCannon, who has also been nominated several times himself, about the experience and even shows off his Grammy‼️🔥🔥🔥 Check Out @JakeUno FULL #BackTrak Episode via the TmrO Network App & On Our @YouTube Channel‼️🫡

When you finally start hitting your stride or get that big break and have rappers like @BustaRhymes calling you at work 🤯🔥it’s probably about that time to pack it up and move on to the dream job. @JakeUno was still holding down a 9-5 while creating some of Hip-Hops classic hits until about 2006. As easy as it may sound to up and quit, it’s not that crazy to maintain a job even while you have A list artists tryin to tap in on your lunch break. Sometimes leaving the safety net and stability that comes with being a W-2 worker is difficult, especially when that’s all you’ve grown to know. Which, is why knowing the music business becomes more important than the music 🧠💡Knowing how to transition out of the 9-5 to a 1099 lifestyle ain’t easy but it’s a lot more plausible when you’ve prepared for it past knowing hot to make some 🔥🔥🔊 What are some questions you have for @JakeUno about that transition out of 9-5 life into the music business? 🤔💭💭 @JakeUno if you’d like to share any more helpful info with the Network we’re always down to give those willing to give game a platform and stage 🤞🏾💪🏾🔥

A statement from the family of Alex Pretti, obtained by CNN: "We are heartbroken but also very angry. Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the hero term lightly. However his last thought and act was to protect a woman. The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed. Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you."

I’ve been seeing different variations of this for the last 30 years 🤣🤣🤣
I haven’t been able to stop watching this all day. It’s the most accurate groupie music thing I’ve seen in a long time. I’m in literal tears.
