#EXCLUSIVE What started as a what Border Patrol says was a “consensual encounter” turned unstable very quickly in the New Orleans area. Border Patrol approached several men working on a roof—Some of them ran, others pulled up ladders to prevent agents from apprehending them. At one point one of the confirmed illegal immigrants dumped a bucket of nails towards agents and wielded scrap metal displaying what the agency calls pre-assaultive indicators. One illegal immigrant was taken into custody. The two on the roof who refused to come down are now considered targets. This as @DHSgov says assaults and attacks on federal law enforcement are up more than 1,150% when compared to last year. This all comes as the governor says he welcomes the federal presence.
