A great day inspecting the 2025 cohort of pure Poll Dorset lambs at the Bowan Park sire evaluation. Very pleased with the progeny of Kentish Downs 230196 , the lambs are a mirror image of their Sire and are displaying his traits of exceptional growth, muscle, structure & shape.

Long period of autumn containment feeding now paying off. Tall fescue, ryegrass & subclover responding with recent rains in southern NSW. Retention of groundcover allows rainfall to infiltrate & pasture to capture sunlight. Containment a proven tactic yet limited adoption.
