Today, Sinn Féin introduced legislation in Dáil that would compel the Taoiseach to get the planning and preparation for constitutional change and Irish unity underway. Sinn Féin is bringing forward a Dáil motion on Tuesday 9th June to support calls to ‘Stop the Game’ between Ireland and Israel. It is unthinkable for Ireland to play Israel at home or away while Israel is engaging in genocide, occupation and apartheid against the Palestinian people. Israel cannot continue to act with impunity. Israel must be sanctioned. Ireland has to take a stand. The FAI has to take a stand. The Irish government has to take a stand. #stopthegame

Based on her interview on Morning Ireland, Ivana Bacik's slogan for the next Dáil election will be Vote Labour, Keep Fine Gael. Appalling, but not at all surprising stuff from the party that delivered the cruelest parts of austerity against those most in need. #neverfoget

People across Dublin Central are under real pressure with the rising cost of living and they need support now. That’s why this by-election matters. People deserve a strong voice in the Dáil who will stand up for workers and families and fight for an emergency budget to make life more affordable. Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil are serial wasters of taxpayer money, while they tell ordinary workers and families to tighten their belts and wait. This can't continue. Not one traveller represents the whole community or should claim to represent the whole community, Eileen Flynn has never claimed to be a representative of the traveller community. Like myself, I am an activist who just so happens to be a traveller.

People have completely lost confidence in this Govt. They still haven’t taken necessary steps to make fuel affordable at the pumps and did nothing on home heating oil despite it hitting highest prices on record. We need max action necessary to cut fuel prices so they are affordable for workers, families and sectors that rely on them, not arrogance and threats!

Michael Healy Rae has resigned as a Minister. The rest of this failed government should go with him!
