Today, Sinn Féin introduced legislation in Dáil that would compel the Taoiseach to get the planning and preparation for constitutional change and Irish unity underway. These conversations are already happening up and down the country. It is imperative that we start to plan now for the future and a #UnitedIreland. Tógfaimid le chéile é!

“We are the largest party of the working class. I don’t need anyone to define my politics. I’m an Irish republican. I come from a working class constituency. I’m a United Irelander. I believe in fairness, I believe in justice and I have an ambition for this country. What I want is a government without Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael… and I’m prepared to work to make it a reality” @davidcullinane

Sinn Féin is bringing forward a Dáil motion on Tuesday 9th June to support calls to ‘Stop the Game’ between Ireland and Israel. It is unthinkable for Ireland to play Israel at home or away while Israel is engaging in genocide, occupation and apartheid against the Palestinian people. Israel cannot continue to act with impunity. Israel must be sanctioned. Ireland has to take a stand. The FAI has to take a stand. The Irish government has to take a stand. #stopthegame

Based on her interview on Morning Ireland, Ivana Bacik's slogan for the next Dáil election will be Vote Labour, Keep Fine Gael. Appalling, but not at all surprising stuff from the party that delivered the cruelest parts of austerity against those most in need. #neverfoget

Also fails to mention that Soc Dems got bulk of Mark's transfers, maybe Labour got less because SF voters still remember the record of Labour in Government with FG 🤷🏻‍♀️

“What you’re suggesting is what we’ve seen in the past, it’s not new and it’s not change, it’s where Labour & others act as a mudguard for Fine Gael” Ivana Bacik letting cat out of the bag. She wants to exclude Sinn Féin and PBP from a left alliance in order to prop up FF/FG

That lot aren’t left wing enough for me.(Translation: They actually represent working class communities Labour abandoned for austerity). ✅ Goes on Morning Ireland with come-and-get-me plea to the Blueshirts. (Reminder: We’re still living with the consequences of the last FG/Lab government). ✅
Mad stuff from Bacik this morning . Openly stating she wants to exclude SF & PBP Deluded. She saw how Labour transfers elected Fine Gael in Galway and she clearly wants a Labour/SocDems/Green and Fine Gael govt Even RTÉ says it looks like she’s building a “mudguard” for FG/FF

People across Dublin Central are under real pressure with the rising cost of living and they need support now. That’s why this by-election matters. People deserve a strong voice in the Dáil who will stand up for workers and families and fight for an emergency budget to make life more affordable. On May 22nd, vótáil Janice Boylan No. 1 and send this government a message that enough is enough.

Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil are serial wasters of taxpayer money, while they tell ordinary workers and families to tighten their belts and wait. This can't continue. We need an emergency budget to help people in the here and now who are struggling with the cost of living. That's why this by-election is so important. People need someone who will go in the Dáil to speak up for them and who has listened intently to what they have to say. On Friday May 22nd, Vótáil Janice Boylan No. 1 to put maximum pressure on this disgraceful government. Enough is enough.

Mary Lou McDonald and I have spoken today with SNP leader John Swinney and Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth. The momentum for constitutional change across these islands is now greater than ever. People in Ireland, Scotland and Wales are looking towards a future beyond the Union, where we have full control over our own affairs. We discussed the enormous significance of this week’s election results, and the historic potential of having three nationalist, pro-independence First Ministers. We agreed to continue working together to strengthen the friendship between our nations, and to stand up for the democratic right of our people to self-determination.

Housing and the cost of living, two of the greatest failures of Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil. I will always stand up for workers and families in Dublin Central who have been so let down by this government, put to the pin of their collar and whose voices have been ignored for far too long. You can send the strongest possible message to this government that you've had enough and they must take real action now. Vótáil Sinn Féin's Janice Boylan No. 1 on Friday May 22nd.

Not one traveller represents the whole community or should claim to represent the whole community, Eileen Flynn has never claimed to be a representative of the traveller community. Like myself, I am an activist who just so happens to be a traveller.

People have completely lost confidence in this Govt. They still haven’t taken necessary steps to make fuel affordable at the pumps and did nothing on home heating oil despite it hitting highest prices on record. We need max action necessary to cut fuel prices so they are affordable for workers, families and sectors that rely on them, not arrogance and threats!
