This is such a laughably ignorant statement. It's ludicrous to claim that there's anything improbable -let alone impossible - about mail-in voters who vote close to or on Election Day voting differently from mail-in voters who vote early.
šŸ’„NEW: @chamath on LA Mayor Election: ā€œI’m for mathematical and statistical literacy. And what happened here is mathematically and statistically IMPOSSIBLE … I can tell you the statistical odds that this would have happened — and it’s one in a trillion!ā€

Chamath's position is completely indefensible, but of course he'll never appear on a podcast where he'd actually be forced to defend it. He'll just bloviate meaninglessly to his buddies, spreading lies and in the process doing more damage to the legitimacy of our elections.

He'll do more of what he's already done, corrupting our political system by spending grotesque sums of money and wielding far more influence over electoral outcomes than any individual should have.
Liberals are worried that Musk might use his ā€œextreme concentration of wealthā€ to do what exactly? Explore space? Electrify automobile transportation? Advance free speech on digital platforms? What’s the threat here?

The last thing Susan Collins wants to talk about is the policies Platner is advocating.

Cain: You have to talk about Platner’s policies, the way he would affect people's lives. Like higher taxes on billionaires…. He preaches universal healthcare.

Doug Burgum is a great example of how Trump turns everyone around him into a painfully sycophantic hack. When Burgum ran for president in 2024, he seemed like a reasonably serious traditional conservative. Now he's on TV saying extraordinarily silly things all the time.
Burgum: "President Trump won the war militarily. Then he won the war economically ... diplomatically, militarily, economically -- three ways to win a war. Trump won all three of them."

The continued insistence that early mail-in ballots - which made up only about a third of all ballots - are somehow more legitimate than mail-in ballots cast close to or on Election Day is absurd. There is no reason to believe the first group of ballots is somehow more "real" than the later, larger group of ballots. Raman did well with people who voted later (and there were more of them), while Pratt did well with people who voted earlier. There is nothing any more suspicious about the first fact than about than the second.

The obvious way to read this prompt is that you should name the commonly held NFL opinion that makes you say "You are all wrong." Something like "Tom Brady is the GOAT." But almost all the replies are the opposite: opinions to which most people would say "You are wrong."
what NFL opinion makes you feel like this?

Soccer is the hardest sport in the world to play. To put it in perspective you can take any active NBA/NFL player and they would not one who be able to get by me and score I haven’t touched a ball in 3 years. I’d put 100k on it. It’s hilarious how bad a top NFL or NBA player looks tryna play soccer šŸ˜‚ The US starting 11 are some of the best athletes the country has don’t fantasize about how good these other athletes would be at soccer prolly not that good.

This is what people like @simon_bazelon have shown: the Dems can make big gains politically if they move to the right on immigration and crime (but not abortion), and move to the left (or stay roughly where they are, but talk a better game) on economics.
A new poll from the New York Times shows potential Democratic voters want the party to move to the right, are happy with where it is ideologically, and rate socialism highly. Huh? gelliottmorris.com/p/2026-06…

Trump was not impeached over charges of collusion with Russia.
I will be putting forward a resolution to void the fraudulent impeachment of President Trump during his first term in office. Russia collusion never happened. This has been proven by evidence released by ODNI Gabbard. It was a terrible lie that tore this country apart, and was plotted by a weaponized intelligence agency under Obama. There is no monetary value that can be assigned to the damage this lie caused. It destroyed families’ relationships with one another, our country’s comradery, and our relationship with another nuclear super power (Russia) that could have resulted in war. Thank goodness the admin has started to restore that relationship, but HISTORY should reflect what actually transpired.

The game didn't start for another 11 hours.
This is outside SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where tonight the USA men’s soccer team plays Paraguay to open their FIFA World Cup play. But as you can see, you would never know there is a soccer game going on, let alone the USA playing in it and hosting it. No American flags lining the streets, a few posters here and there, but no National Pride, no Soccer fever, no nothing. 😳 Other countries go ALL OUT, but not California. šŸ’Æ Some people said they had no idea the World Cup and the USA were even playing there until they were told. 🤯 Even if you aren’t a soccer fan, where’s the pride for your country? What do you think Mexico, Argentina, Brazil or Scotland and the Netherlands would look like if they were hosting? What an embarrassment don’t you think?

I have no idea if this is accurate, but if it is, it's going to be fascinating to see how Trump tries to spin this to make it look like a victory.
