It is a huge honor to be presented as the Legislator of the Year by the National Council for Equal Shared Parenting. For three years I have worked hard for healthy children and families and will continue for as long as my people will keep me. Thank you NCESP for this honor.

This morning, the Fathership bill (HB927) passed out of senate committee with a vote of 4-0. It's passed unanimous out of 4 separate committees now. Keep praying this sails thru the senate and then on to the governors desk.

PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday, HB927 passed UNANIMOUSLY out of the committee on Children and Families.
Ultimately, at the heart of this bill, it is not a father bill. It is a kids' bill. Our children are the biggest benefit from having dads in their lives.
