Disappointing for Blazer Nation. Evaschesen was a revelation in '25-'26, bringing versatility, skill and a great motor. Hope he goes on to bigger and better things from here.
Josh Evaschesen told media during exit meetings he was leaning toward taking the NCAA route next season. He made his final decision a few weeks back and will not return to Kamloops next season, he says.

Having said that, my opinion on the matter remains steadfast: denialist rhetoric is chiefly driven by racism. It stems from an unspoken belief only non-Indigenous scientists, historians and experts can be trusted to tell the truth.

Deep down, many denialists believe First Nations are out to either punish or ‘pull one over’ on non-Indigenous Canada.
