2. Create envy in the minds of economically illiterate citizens by asserting that there is a limited pie of national wealth and some people have too much of that pie.
3. Appoint themselves as the arbiters of wealth distribution and rely on the envy of the economically illiterate masses to achieve power.
4. Use that power to ensure that everyone is equally poor, except them of course because they deserve disproportionate wealth because of all the "responsibility" they shoulder.

Chris Nikic, the first person with Down syndrome to complete an Ironman, completes Ironman 70.3 Massachusetts.
Shortly before the race, Nikic announced that he needed a guide to run alongside him for the race.
That's when Dr. Tommy Martin decided to step up.
"I learned more in this race than almost any other I have competed in, and none of it was about race tactics or how to PR. It was about life, perspective, determination, and grit. I owe all of that to Chris," Martin said.

Yesterday I posted a commentary on Ukrainian labs still being funded by the 35 year-old Nunn-Lugar program, intended to shut down Soviet-era WMD programs and convert the plants to civilian use.
I’m concerned about the integrity of reports concerning the nature of these labs.
My post was intended as a commentary of the continued existence of the Nunn-Lugar industrial complex which, like USAID, has gone far beyond its original 1991 mandate and become part of the swamp.
Nunn-Lugar had its successes years ago but was hijacked by Russian duplicity and US administrative and contractor fraud.

If it means anything, Harry Markopolos proved Bernie Madoff’s returns were statistically impossible. The SEC spent more than a decade ignoring him and didn’t act until after the fraud collapsed and investors lost over $40 billion.
