We are aware of reports that members of the World Central Kitchen team have been killed in an IDF attack while working to support our humanitarian food delivery efforts in Gaza. This is a tragedy. Humanitarian aid workers and civilians should NEVER be a target. EVER.

On about the fifth name you can see that I look up and I choke as I go on to read the next name because what I saw when I looked up was the families of killed women standing up in the gallery as a mark of respect. It took everything I had to not just break down in tears.
"I am tired of fighting for systematic change and being given table scraps" Labour MP Jess Phillips reads the names of the women killed as a result of violence over the past year bbc.in/3TgEPvm

New trial out today showing #fallprevention from #exergame in standing but not sitting. More evidence for training relevant to the task ie staying upright while controlling body movement. Expertly led by @neuraustralia @UNSW’s @DrSturnieks & team. Delighted I played a small part.
A RCT enrolling older adults showed #exergame training on a computerized mat but not seated #cognitivetraining decreased rate of #falls over 1 year, compared to control group with an education booklet on healthy aging fall prevention @DrSturnieks @UNSW nature.com/articles/s41591-0…

Important work on food banks by @walkingresearch
Nice to know that @RishiSunak is grateful to Food Banks because “they do provide support to people” @walkingresearch & team have just published research about people’s experiences of using the @norwichfoodbank & they do far more than “provide support”. Food banks are lifelines!
