Setting alarm for R3 Choral Evensong today @rodolfusfound course @dieneswilliams @ralphallwood singing my Beati Quorum alongside the Stanford which inspired it. Wasn't able to join them live (conducting another summer choir) but looking forward to catching up with the broadcast😀

So glad you enjoyed it - it was an absolute privilege for @GrantaChorale to hold our #GustavHolst150 celebration in the very best place. Walking up the hill towards the church I felt very aware of his presence and influence in Thaxted - but also radiating way beyond.

Yesterday’s #GustavHolst150 concert by @GrantaChorale was superb in every way. The sensitive programme celebrated Gustav & Imogen’s music in their beloved #Thaxted, with @JanetWheelerMM’s 2016 tribute to The Planets encircling his worlds. Now looking forward to @ThaxtedFestival.

Still floating gently to earth after helping expanded upper voices of @GrantaChorale navigate the end of Neptune with @LPOrchestra @SaffronHallSW with Ed Gardner. Well sung all! Next stop Thaxted - more Holst (G and I), VW, Bach and my planetary homage to Holst/Gibbons.

The hedge on the left is managed every year. The one on the right has been left for several years. The same species, a hugely different outcome for local habitat diversity & richness because of the cover, nectar & berries. It doesn't always have to be the way it was in the past.

A fabulous weekend of rehearsals, concert and recordings - a great culmination to Opus 1. Big thanks to @BrittenSinfonia, mentors Raymond Yiu and @DaniHoward6 and @AllSaintsJL . So good as well to get to know and hear all the other composers. (Congratulations on all your pieces.)
