Whilst our MPs are busy hurling what they consider to be witty abuse at each other across the floor of the House, it is no surprise that we are all so disillusioned with the lot of them. Who is actually trying to do something about the parlous state this country is now in?

I can only assume that Rishi Sunak no longer wants to be PM. Delaying the halting of sales of diesel and petrol cars is bad news on every front. Furthermore, it gives the wrong message to the rest of the world.

Therea May - the petition to revoke #Article50 has exceeded 5M signatures despite great difficulty accessing it and the site crashing. 1M of us marched. We jump up and down, sing and dance and wave our knickers in the air and still you neither see nor hear us. Stop #Brexit

MSA at Nottingham
I spent last weekend in Nottingham at the MSA Conference. As always, I learnt a lot, laughed a lot and enjoyed the spa facilities.

I wish politicians and others would stop prefacing their answers to simple questions with the word "So". It is redundant and irritating. Designed presumably to convey authority, it simply sounds self-important.
