Author, researcher. Pop culture, science, & history. Bylines @esquire, @NewRepublic, @CNN, @Slate, etc. My new book, "Jimmy," about James Dean out now!
I don't believe him because he didn't say this when he testified before Congress under oath, the national forum where making such a statement would have mattered. Dolling out increasingly grandiose new claims every few months for years is getting old.
**Breaking** David Grusch: "I have seen photos of UFO Crash Retrievals" 👽🛸
"This is the most earth shattering thing that changed my world view"
"They were everything from flying discs to egg shape craft & every other morphology"
"They landed or crashed on the surface of the earth"
UFO Disclosure just escalated to a new level.
Oh, gee, look who's weighing in on whether UFOs threaten Christian faith. Ross Douthat really has a thing for UFOs, like all of the bored elites at the Times. nytimes.com/2026/06/13/opini…
This week Sky in the UK aired an English version of a French documentary about James Dean that first aired in December. I was shocked by how similar its themes were to my 2024 book "Jimmy," right down to Sky using almost the same wording I used in my conclusion.
But, overall, the conclusions and the evidence presented for them echo my ideas as much if not more than those of others who wrote on the subject and reached slightly different conclusions.
While the French film's emphasis is on masculinity rather than sexuality per se, the reports about the film describe it as following my interpretation of the production and themes of "Rebel without a Cause," which is, as far as I know, my original conclusion.
Catholic exorcist claims "Disclosure Day" is "cursed" and that Spielberg may have "consecrated [it] to Satan" in order to destroy Christians' faith. christianpost.com/news/tenne…
This weekend's box office figures show "Disclosure Day" doing slightly better than studio projections, but below the level needed to turn a profit, while "Masters of the Universe" cements status as a huge flop with "dismal" second week showing. thewrap.com/creative-content…
Avi Loeb has ascended to his final form, achieving the government UFO patronage he long desired, and using his years of exaggerated UFO claims to help the most corrupt president in history distract from his many scandals.
BREAKING: White House tasks Dr. Avi Loeb to create a UAP Science Advisory Council with astrophysicists, AI experts, and human psychologists
The Council will assist U.S. Government agencies to include ODNI, FBI, and AARO in determining the nature of UAPs.

I've seen virtually no discussion of "Disclosure Day" in my social media feeds, and I'm rather surprised that the algorithms haven't been feeding me "Disclosure Day" content. Or perhaps it was simply so disappointing that there isn't that much discussion.
New in my Library: I have translated the Aztec Legend of the Suns from the Codex Chimalpopoca to make this text available online in full in English and not just in summary. jasoncolavito.com/the-legend…
Re the rich not paying their "fair" share, there's an endless stream of graphs like these putting the lie to that claim.
Do you mean the 1% should pay 99%?
What's the right number?
BTW, I'm not even remotely close to being in the top 1%
Diana Pasulka bizarrely tells the AP that she is thrilled that the public is excited about UFOs because it is destroying the tyranny of science and restoring spirituality. “It’s a blow to the secular, materialist worldview,” she told the AP. apnews.com/article/ufo-relig…
As ought to be obvious, there is nothing anti-scientific or anti-materialist about flying saucers. It is only a "blow" to secular materialism if you are worshiping the aliens as gods or imagining them as coming from a supernatural dimension.
As Mick West notes, the "orbs" are just random human-made stuff anyone could see in the sky, and the government did very little to vet the claims. x.com/MickWest/status/206545…
The "new" UAP videos released today are ALL from one guy who regularly sees "orbs" over his house. He was considered "credible" by the FBI. His videos were released last year. One showed Chinese lanterns, and one showed the ISS.
He's not credible, and the FBI did a poor job.
