Stop hacking life. Everything that really matters in life is hard. Positive results only follow a commitment to do the hard work.

Beware the false promise of “life hacks.” Technique matters a great deal in most skills. Ultimate success, however, comes as a result of hard work, grit and focus. You can hack your way to a great omelette; you can’t hack life skills.

How do we say thank you to the health workers and scientists for their sacrifice and service? Receive the vaccine as soon as one can to lessen their load and keep wearing a mask to protect fellow citizens. In my 80th year, I am grateful and hopeful for better days ahead.

American democracy won today. The People voted. Courts ruled on challenges to the vote. Congress confirmed the vote. The President transitioned power. Regardless of who you voted for, we should all take comfort that our democracy held strong. God bless America.
