Agree … Last few years I’ve seen DJ’s headlining little spots in Monaco for the F1 and thought to myself “influencer culture ruins everything”
I did a trackside yacht in 2019 and it was a fantastic experience. Not an influencer in sight.

In my uber the radio commercial for drinkhappyviking.com just came on.
My uber driver was captivated by each word hanging on by a thread to find the name of the company that had this Amazing product. Hilarious how incredible this was to watch in real time
At the end it said the website and she repeated it 15 times.
Said “I’m going to buy that” then 5 seconds later “oh I forgot the name”
She said she’s sick and having trouble eating and this product sounds perfect but still couldn’t remember the name.
This was legitimately the most insane process to see what I do every single day for the past 12 years …. I convince people to buy shit and 5 seconds later they forget. So I retarget them until they die or buy.
I’m going to cue up the checkout cart and get her address … she’s getting some free Happy Viking

I can’t tell you how many times people have negatively commented on my shit carry on bag I bought several years ago for likely under $100 …. It’s never even come close to being broken

Gf bought Rimowa suitcases, expensive and supposed to be better quality than regular ones, but of course they're much worse
They keep breaking, like all of them, cracks in the handles, cracks in the sides, it's just cheap plastic shit but it costs $1000 or more
Rimowa was bought by LVMH in 2016 which has an average profit margin of 66% and whose strategy is to increase prices by ~5x, decrease costs by ~5x and then create artificial scarcity (limited availability per shop) because people want what they can't get (not me though but many)
LVMH is kinda like the luxury version of private equity, it makes everything more expensive and worse and hard to get!

Need a Pet/CT scan tomorrow … insurance will cover $218 of the $5,000 the scan will cost.
I asked for cash pay and somehow that’s more, first time I’ve heard that.
Seriously what is the point of insurance?
They cover peanuts and when they actually are willing to cover something it’s with a first year doctor at some shit hospital so I end up out of pocket anyway.
The more I have looked into @JoinCrowdHealth the better it seems. Unfortunately they won’t cover preexisting conditions so im shit outta luck.

Now that I deal with insurance on an almost daily basis I 100% Agree with Luigi Mangione.
Crazy that this random MRI resulted in what would eventually by my Cancer Diagnosis but what is even crazier is how insane Insurance Companies are.
WTF you mean my tests aren't covered? WTF you mean I can get anesthesia from one hospital but not from another for a surgery that is IMPOSSIBLE to do without anesthesia.
WTF are these charges and WTF do they mean? Ive been to 4 diff docs and have a 3-5 tests at each my initial few tests but somehow have about 2,000 bills and nonsense codes associated with each one.
The last doc I went to was all self pay $300 and he did the same shit the other docs did which by the looks of it totals around $30,000 at present moment. I have not even had surgery yet.
I couldn't imagine how do deal with this as someone who doesn't have the means to pay.
I feel so terrible for the average person that has to deal with the medical system.
This entire system needs to be burnt to the ground.

I've been on Mounjaro for some time, and I can finally look at food and not want to eat it, or order a meal and leave half of it. That has never happened in my entire life without a serious internal battle.
Some people have a high natural resistance to food. I'm not one of those people. Now I understand what that feels like, and I genuinely cannot believe how some people live with food noise ringing in their brains.
