Thank you for asking. You seem serious. Yes, patient access is important. This isn't about access. Mindbloom is introducing people to minimally supervised injectable ketamine. This is a public health experiment. A few comments:
Replying to @TheBorisLab
What's the basis for your concern? Mindbloom's outcomes were published in 2 peer-reviewed studies with 11,441 clients showing our at-home ketamine therapy with sublingual tablets is effective and safe. But sublingual doesn't work for everyone, and subcutaneous injection gives patients and providers more options to find the right treatment. It removes certain risks of sublingual, and allows clinicians to prescribe fewer mgs of ketamine. Launching subcutaneous administration wasn't a rash decision - we piloted it for a year with supervision from a medical review board to confirm effectiveness and safety. We've shared our data with independent researchers for publication, and you can read our white paper here mindbloom-guides.s3.us-east-… Second Mindbloom study: sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

I would love to know who decided that bc psychedelics don’t produce self-admin that assay isn’t valid to measure their abuse liability When IN FACT the “limited” or “sporadic” or “unreliable” self-admin of psychs is consistent with the use patterns of humans smh

Like they do not have abuse potential, they don’t even act through the same mechanisms as other drugs that have higher abuse potential, they’re pharmacokinetics do not share hallmarks with commonly used drugs ITS A FEATURE NOT A BUG!!!

My latest, via @Filtermag_org! Honored to be able to expand my coverage back to my home state — I grew up less than an hour from Louisa County and hope to interview Dawn Morris in person before she’s sentenced in February.
“No one should be facing dying in prison for a smaller-scale operation than what many multi-state corporations are doing on a daily basis.” Outrage at a potential sentence of 160 years in a state where cannabis possession is legal. @JackGorsline reports: filtermag.org/virginia-canna…
