What is going on in Minnesota is not about immigration. If you want to deport people who are in the country illegally, you don't pull up to random cars in parking lots and shatter their windows and drag their drivers out. You don't trap cars in intersections and shatter their windows to force the occupants out into the street. You don't go up to random hispanic people at gas stations and demand their papers. These are not targetted enforcement actions. We know this because there are dozens of videos that show the ICE agents giving up and leaving. They wouldn't do that if they were apprehending a known target. We know this because many of the people in these cars turn out to be US citizens and ICE just drives off, leaving them behind with their shattered windows. Obama deported over 3 million people and ICE never employed any of these tactics. They are not effective or efficient. This is not about immigration.
