Some interesting statistics here that could help stimulate dialogue in the classroom.
Households reduced their consumption of electricity last year by 9%, according to new figures published by the Central Statistics Office. However, data centres increased their power consumption by 31% and now account for 18% of electricity used. rte.ie/news/business/2023/06…

Great to see the @JctScience crew enjoying the outdoor classroom. We had a radish tasting! They were suitably impressed @Waterfordpermie. We need more place based training. Get teachers into schools so they can see how nature engagement programmes are run in situ.

JUICE (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer) launched on April 14th with the goal of surveying the moons of Jupiter and Jupiter itself in detail. The @esa have an interactive tool here esa.int/Science_Exploration/… that shows where JUICE is and its trajectory.
