I am still on here for updates, but over at counter.social for the chit chat. We will find each other again if it was meant to be.

Whether some realize it or not, the ADA helps all of us.
Because the truth is everyone is just one moment away from becoming disabled.
And we should all be so lucky that we live long enough to gain a disability ourselves.
Disability rights are human rights.
A vote for Kamala is a vote for kids.

Anyway, more about Project 2025:
Did yāall know that FAFSA and Pell Grants ($ for students from low-income families) are issued by the US Department of Education?
Project 2025 will eliminate the US Department of Education, FAFSA, and Pell Grants. This is a Trump-Vance policy.

My not-so-profound reflection as AAPI heritage month is rolling towards the end:
There was a time when readers would ask about Asian rep in romance & the replies were something like: so-and-so once had a character whose grandmother was Japanese in 1 of their 50 backlist titles
And little olā me would be in the back of the room waving my hands franticallyāIām here! Iām here.
Now when readers ask for romance recs with Asian rep, theyāll often preface it with āand please donāt say Jeannie Lin.ā š¤£
The needle sometimes moves slowly, but it does move.
Also, to my readers: I may not know each of your names and faces, but I love and appreciate you so much. This didnāt come about due to any marketing push, any big breakout book, anything clever that I did. It was all you, one rec at a time.
My heart is full. š«¶ā¤ļøš„¹
