🔓Take a look at this #OpenAccess research from @JeffComerSim and colleagues, as featured on the inside front cover of our latest issue: 'Computational design of a cyclic peptide that inhibits the CTLA4 immune checkpoint'👀👀 pubs.rsc.org/en/content/arti… 📍 @KSUDAP

Designed a cyclic peptide that folds and self-assembles at the graphite/graphene–water interface using molecular dynamics simulation and verified the formation of linear patterns experimentally. In my opinion, the coolest work I've ever done. doi.org/10.1021/acs.jcim.2c0… @JCIM_JCTC

I’m excited for the new Dune movie because I think the world is ready for a teenage hero who spends most of the time hanging out with his mom.

Collab. with group of Ricardo Garcia whose amazing AFM work reveals molecular layers at water–material interfaces. Simulations link the length of force undulations to molecular structure of the overlayers and suggest graphite–water interfaces include VOCs. doi.org/10.1039/D1NR00351H

For women in STEM, our choice of partner (or choosing no partner) can end up being one of the most important career decisions that we make. If you’re going to be with someone, you deserve to be with someone who supports you and your career goals.

Nice to see a headline like this in the @WSJ The public needs to appreciate that chemists, biochemists, and biologists are the ones who will provide the remedies for #COVID19 .
