The next generation showed up on Parliament Hill! It was a pleasure to welcome Duncan high school students to Ottawa through the Duncan and Ottawa Rotary clubs for a tour of Parliament — and great to speak with them in person. Curious, engaged, and asking all the right questions. #CowichanMalahatLangford #DuncanRotary

This is your MP at work. I asked the General directly — and he confirmed on the record: all recommendations accepted, 8 are already implemented. Real accountability. Real results for the people who serve this country.

Seventy years of marriage. A lifetime of lifting others up. This month I joined Bob and Norma Saunders to celebrate their seventieth anniversary — and to honour all Bob has done for veterans, youth sport, health care and the arts across Vancouver Island. Thank you, Bob and Norma. Vancouver Island is better for you both. #VancouverIsland #CML #Veterans #ServiceBeforeSelf

On Saturday night, pub workers in Lake Cowichan told me they can’t afford groceries. The Liberals’ fix? A recycled grocery stunt that cuts off at $59,000 — shutting out full-time workers. In the House, the PM laughed at suffering Canadians. It’s time he stopped laughing and started caring.

An eye-opening day riding along with North Cowichan Bylaw Officer Dave Elley. The challenges our municipality faces around homelessness, addiction, mental health and organized crime are very real — and the people on the front lines deserve our deepest respect. Thank you Dave and the entire North Cowichan Bylaw team for the important and difficult work you do for our community every single day. These conversations matter.

Today is Canadian Armed Forces Day — the first Sunday in June, when we recognize the women and men who put on the uniform and stand on guard for all of us. Right here on Vancouver Island, that service is woven into daily life. From the sailors and families based out of Esquimalt to the reservists and personnel who call this Island home, these are the people who make the difference — at home and abroad. I wore the uniform myself as a naval officer before this job, and that commitment hasn’t gone anywhere. As your MP and on the Standing Committee on National Defence, I’ll keep showing up for the men and women in uniform — fighting to make sure they have the support, the equipment, and the respect they’ve earned. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. 🇨🇦 #CanadianArmedForces #RCN #StandOnGuard #RCAF #StrongProudReady @RoyalCanNavy @RCAF_ARC @CanadianArmy

We had the privilege of visiting the Tsow-Tun-Le-Lum Society Substance Use and Trauma Treatment Centre in Duncan — an incredible organization providing in-patient treatment for First Nations, Métis and Inuit people struggling with addiction, trauma and mental health. A heartfelt thank you to Nola, Executive Director, for taking the time to share the vital work being done here. The dedication and compassion of this team is inspiring.

The @WLAShamrocks Westshore Shamrocks are back — and what a start! A 9–4 opener at a packed Q Centre, with so many great people in the crowd. A special shoutout to the Saunders family on their 70th Anniversary — pillars of the Westshore. Go Shamrocks!

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds aren't just an air show — they're a recruitment tool, a symbol of unity, and a source of national pride. With no replacement aircraft plan in sight, their future is uncertain. Add your name and tell the Liberal government: keep the Snowbirds flying. 🇨🇦 👉 conservative.ca/cpc/dont-can…

At National Defence Committee, I pressed the Liberal Government on a serious gap in Canada’s defence planning. Non-kinetic threats like coercive trade, foreign interference, and supply chain weaponization are strategic threats to Canada’s sovereignty and national security. Canada needs a real Defence Industrial Strategy that protects our economy, our supply chains, and our Armed Forces. These threats are already here, and I am pressing the government to take them seriously before they become kinetic.

Would you let the government install surveillance capabilities on your private devices? Because that is exactly what Bill C-22 would allow. From Cowichan to Langford and everywhere in between — concern over this bill is real, it is widespread, and it crosses every political line. It has drawn near-universal criticism from privacy advocates, civil liberties groups, the legal community, and opposition parties — and for good reason. I share your concerns over privacy, censorship, and government overreach, and I will not stop fighting against it. I am hearing you, and I will be your voice in Ottawa. What are your thoughts? Drop them below. 👇 #BillC22 #VancouverIsland #CowichanMalahatLangford

I just left a meeting with local representatives of the Mill Closure Working Group — and the message was clear. Liberal Minister Hajdu still hasn't delivered on the support promised to laid-off forestry workers. The federal government still hasn't negotiated on softwood lumber tariffs. These delays have real consequences for real families right here on Vancouver Island. Enough waiting. These workers and this vital renewable resource industry deserve action — not empty promises. I will continue fighting for them.

Congratulations to @KerryLynneFindl — the next Premier of BC. I’ve had the privilege of knowing Kerry-Lynne for years — her commitment to principle never wavers. She ran on exactly that: property rights, lower taxes, small government, free enterprise, and real accountability on crime. A message that hits home here on Vancouver Island. To everyone who put their name forward in this race — thank you. Now let’s get to work. Affordable. Safe. United.
