Drew Goolsby is putting together an elite all-around offensive season.
Hitting .436 with a ridiculous .569 OBP and 1.338 OPS, Goolsby has been a nightmare for opposing pitchers. He combines high-level bat-to-ball skills with real impact power, shown by his .769 slugging percentage, along with 3 home runs and extra-base production across the board.
What stands out most is his ability to control the zone and get on base at an elite rate, while still doing damage when he gets his pitch. With 22 runs scored and 10 RBI, he’s constantly in the middle of offensive production, and he adds value on the bases with 4 stolen bags.
A dynamic hitter who can set the table or clear it, Goolsby is proving to be one of the more dangerous and complete bats in the lineup.

"I was just talking to Alysha Clark yesterday, and she was talking about being an intangible player. She came from being a leading scorer at her college to not having to do that in the league. So I feel like that move to South Carolina definitely prepared me, just from playing with other talented players and then not taking as many shots. As a rookie, you're not going to get all those shots, especially playing with other superstars. I think that's what's going to help me in the league."
