Trump's recent Executive Order on homelessness and public safety is prompting regulatory changes from federal agencies to existing programs related to homelessness. Learn how this impacts planning and overhauls HUD’s Continuum of Care: plnn.org/3J89fxD

The ROAD To Housing Act has passed in the Senate!🥳🙌 This historic bipartisan legislation will support planners in cutting red tape to increase housing supply in local communities of all sizes. Thank you to @SenWarren and @SenatorTimScott for your leadership!
America is not building enough housing and Americans are facing sky-high housing costs as a result. Today, the Senate took a historic step to change that. The ROAD to Housing Act will help communities – urban, suburban, and rural – build more housing and bring down costs.

Time is money — that goes for building housing too. Longer delays means higher costs for builders, and higher rents and home prices for everyone else. Because of @MassGovernor’s plan to fast-track new housing, we’ll be able to build more homes and lower costs across the state.

That’s a wrap on the #HousingSupply Accelerator Summit! Hosted by APA and @leagueofcities the summit was an incredible moment for learning and creating action on local solutions to housing supply. Offering an opportunity to forge critical partnerships, this summit explored how robust public-private and federal-local partnerships can accelerate housing supply solutions at the local level. The Summit also marked the first meeting of America’s Housing Comeback, which aims to accelerate the housing successes of local governments using the solutions, systems, and partnerships approach outlined in the Housing Supply Accelerator Playbook, as well as ignite a federal focus on policy solutions for addressing the nation’s housing shortage. 10 committee members represented APA and planner’s roles in housing solutions. We look forward to continuing the work ahead to increase housing supply with our partners. @NAHBhome @nardotrealtor plnn.org/4lbgLoF

I can’t believe it - after years of advocacy, exclusionary zoning has ended in Cambridge. We just passed the single most comprehensive rezoning in the US—legalizing multifamily housing up to 6 stories citywide in a Paris style Here’s the details 🧵

This is why that Cambridge rezoning matters. So many progressive regions have been locking people out of opportunity and it has profound impacts for our economy and as we now see, for our democracy. Bravo @YAppelbaum theatlantic.com/magazine/arc…

We also heard inspiring messages from our federal delegation, who emphasized the importance of continued action on affordability, federal support and funding, and pushing on the issues that matter most to Massachusetts in Washington.
