Two mission proposals led by @uniofleicester receive £500K @spacegovuk funding.
SIRIUS would examine nearby stars to understand how they affect the environment their planets orbit in, whilst Elfen would study the impact of ions on Earth’s magnetosphere.

We were delighted to showcase the Soft X-ray Imager (SXI) to @uniofleicester vice-chancellor, @NCanagarajah today. Developed at @SpaceParkLeic for the upcoming #SMILE mission, SXI recently completed vibration testing ahead of delivery to the Chinese Academy of Science.
