WATCH: A statue of Queen Elizabeth II has been unveiled in Newcastle-under-Lyme this morning.
It was commissioned by @NewsNBC to mark the town's 850th anniversary in 2023 and was designed by acclaimed sculptor Andy Edwards.
We went along to the unveiling of the statue.

I’m delighted that the Leader of Staffordshire County Council is endorsing me to stand again as your local MP in #Stafford.
We’ve worked together for the last few years to deliver record investment into this constituency including £1.6m to reopen Shire Hall with a new business centre.

Great response on the doorstep out campaigning in Baldwin’s Gate and Whitmore. I met with Cllr Paul Northcott to discuss potholes, HS2 compensation, planning & supporting our rural economy.

Following my national campaign, I’m delighted that at the Women’s Health Summit today the Health Secretary has confirmed that birth trauma has been added to the Women’s Health Strategy and is now a priority for the Government in 2024.
