Imagine you are 69 years old. You are diagnosed with cancer. Then told it is terminal. They put you in hospital with palliative care to give you a quiet and calm end to your life. Until… A 25 year old Moroccan man infiltrates the hospital and finds his way into your room. He sexually assaults you and threatens to cut your throat if you scream for help. This happened to a woman in El Can Misses Hospital in Ibiza on May 12, 2026 at about 3am. The woman managed to press the emergency button and the man fled. He was later arrested by the police and was found to have an open deportation order in place. He was supposed to have been sent back to Morocco already but had not been. Nobody can explain why. What is worse is that he was earmarked for deportation because he had assembled a number of criminal convictions on Ibiza already - for altercations with workers, damage to businesses, vandalism of cars, violence and other incidents. He was then sent to mainland Spain to be dealt with by the courts but already they are talking about “mental health issues”. What is the point of a deportation order if it isn’t executed? I wish I knew. How many more of these are roaming around?
