Would you outsource 30% of your headcount for AI? I made a panel of 6 (who run companies) answer this instead of copping out. It turned into a 30 minute yelling match ft @Tvalc @chrisheatherly @itsgnoc @MichaelSatoshi @ParallelTCGpod @JerrySinger

This one sucks :( This team has become some of my favorite people over the last few years. Shows how hard gaming (not just web3) actually is to make something new and innovative.
BREAKING 🚨: @PlayWildcard and Its Ecosystem Are Sunsetting • Wildcard multiplayer operations are officially shutting down • Wildcard IP, Champions, Summons, and core game systems remain as a foundation for what comes next • Thousands Foundation has announced the wind-down of the network, sunsetting Wildcard Premier League (WPL) alongside it • Franchise Managers will receive a USDC airdrop from the WPL treasury based on activity level • All remaining $WC will be burned; no action required The team cites running out of development funds, with neither the game nor the protocol profitable.

I disagree here. It’s not “web3 gaming is dead” is lazy. It’s overwhelmingly true. That’s the problem. Josep has a genuinely good list of good games here! But the amount of studios dropping like flys make one thing true for all of them! They have to over deliver by orders of magnitude to get sentiment turned around. If the last few that are remaining can’t actual deliver something that makes people want to care, it’ll just get more depressing for the web3 gaming maxis.
The ‘web3 gaming is dead’ narrative is lazy > @AxieInfinity launched its second playtest with a product people are actually enjoying. Instead of chasing Telegram/airdrop metas, they’re staying focused on their MMORPG — and it’s paying off. > @playcambria is starting to tease the next game mode with Dungeons playtest: a risk-to-earn mode with a similar vibes to Onchain Heroes’ Maze of Gains. > @onchainheroes continues to deliver: great player-funded weekly prize pools constant upgrades to their risk-to-earn ecosystem. > @playgigaverse is building quietly: 500k YouTube subs, Gigling races soon, and likely an open world on the way. > @SuperTrip64 keeps building agressively with just two devs, and making the game better every day > @Moku_HQ is wrapping Season 1 with $1.3M in rewards. If they’re sustaining that, revenue is clearly there. > @WilderWorld just launched its open world, a big step toward multiplayer. Still one of the most ambitious projects in the space. > @illuviumio keeps shipping despite pivots: Ronin launch (Deathmatch), TCG, and Overworld coming. > @staratlas still building, still ambitious. > @OthersideMeta continues to build and launching new game modes I can keep going, but CT prefer to focus in shutdowns and failures. No easy money meta right now, unfortunatelly. Please note, this isn't a BULLISH post. Last months was being hard to us, but the best founders are still here, building, and we need to respect that.

Influencers chase views, but real leaders chase the edge of total failure. If you aren't scaling your bags to the point of public humiliation, you aren't leading anything you're just a glorified content curator. The future belongs to the risk-takers, not the "safe" creators.

Social media is a drug, and most of you are overdosing. Every scroll is a stolen minute that should’ve been spent on your portfolio or building your network. If you aren't using these platforms as a tool to extract value, you’re just the product being sold.
