I love these Pallywood accounts that destroy the minimal credibility of their cause with their own excesses and insanity

Mass affluence, massive population growth, global demand for acts, massive elevation of modest cities to large metros, but a stadium can only fit so many people (plus or minus) so at some point they need to revolve around revenue per seat rather than endless expansion of volume.

The Somalian ref was refused entry because of ties to terrorist groups and inconsistencies between his visa application and nature of passport that became apparent on crossing and implied fraud/corruption. Same would have happened with Canada.

That's thin as a razor's edge for a cup run. The 3rd pair guys should be 7 and 8 to allow for injuries, rotation, illness, suspension, or at least we should have 2 more of that quality.

Hey @Dave_Eby now that you know you still ok to invite this referee to Vancouver? This is hardly ‘standing up for the Jewish community’. The hate is real and you pretend it isn’t. Shame on you. #bcpoli
The Americans did the right thing. Why does FIFA allow a referee who wrote, “Jews target Muslims and Arabs and suck their blood,” to officiate matches in the first place? This is not against Somalia. This is about kicking racism out of football. We expect more from our referees.

People don't hate Babcock. Commie does, and he's a whackjob. Franzen did, and he was a different, unfortunate style of whackjob. Otherwise what? Modano finished a career as a bit player sitting last game? In the meantime cup winners, gold medalists, the cream of the crop, all with nothing but good.

No he wouldn't. Canadian visa policies towards Somalia are as stringent as the US.

Yes, there are no borders, no nations, no visas, no passports, no national security. You do realize the Somali would have faced the same process from every developed nation, including Canada and Mexico, among others.

For every reason. A country marginalized by every developed nation and requiring complex, multiple step visa applications. Attempted to circumvent vetting with a fraudulent diplomatic passport from a crony. Caught entering the US with a visa contradicting passport.

How much does Zach Hyman think of Mike Babcock? He owes him his career. His brother just hired Babcock's son to coach their junior team. It's no coincidence the Oilers are considering Babcock in Edmonton. Zach Hyman is one of the best people in hockey, period.

Shocking? Because one fragile guy was sad over his unfulfilled career? Because Commodore rubbed him the wrong way? Was rough with Marner as a rookie before they evolved a strong relationship? Grow up. It isn't 2022 anymore.

Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy. One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what?? The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you. Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!

Because they are not at war with Iran and have not designated Iran and the Republican Guard terrorists.

Yes, that's the point. To highlight your attempt to project London, and the Gulf Stream, to the arctic circle.

Unpopular opinion: the French conquest of Algeria was entirely morally justified. Algeria was a criminal state that lived off robbing and enslaving Europeans and Americans. The war put an end to its massive slave trade and piracy operation. This is a good thing.

Reminds us of one of those "NHL what-ifs" that gets little consideration. What if LA had been willing to move Luc instead of Jimmy in the 99 trade? Oilers did win the Cup again, but would they have sustained a second long run?

But it is interesting that the model for panel composition is relatively unchanged and reflected what we call DEI even in the 1970s. A veteran host, a female, a minority, a character prone to say outrageous things.

Yep. I fall within that. Everything full to over flowing from Boomers coming before us. No room for us. Senior roles full. End of pensions. Introducing the mindset, culture, "whatever", anti-fashion, alternative sports, alternative music, identified by marketing agencies and tagged to Gen-X.

This is police brutality, full stop. He was walking away from confrontation and they *chased after him* and assaulted him with excessive force. Will government condemn and investigate it? #cdnpoli
This is what happened to a man for walking freely in a residential Quebec neighbourhood that was overrun by extremists. Antizionism is a hate movement that impacts everyone, not just Jews.

Not really. Just look at the Oilers, who were 3 of those samples. They rolled Dallas in 5 once, beat then soundly in 6 twice, but each time Dallas finished ahead in standings. Prior to that they were swept by Colorado, but largely due to injuries though (granted Avs were juggernauts that year).
