As a transit rider, I joined my colleagues and transit advocates in calling for the preservation of hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for transit programs that is at risk of being lost. Public transit is essential for our state's economy and addressing climate change. 🚆 🚍️

June is #MensHealthMonth. Too many men are ignoring their physical and mental health, resulting in lower life expectancies and higher levels of loneliness. Routine checkups and not being afraid to ask for help can improve wellbeing and quality of life.

On #HarveyMilkDay we honor the legacy of a trailblazer who, as one of the first openly gay elected officials in the nation, used his voice to demand equality, visibility, and dignity. His courage to run, organize, and speak against injustice remains an inspiration.
