Some personal news: today is my last day @delawareonline. 😢
My husband, the wonderful and amazing @DanielTLinehan, just got a job in Madison, Wisconsin, which is closer to our families.

Breaking: They have located a body on the C&D canal, near the bike trail, just west of the Del. 1 bridge, according to scanner traffic. #netde @delawareonline This is near the spot an SUV plunged into the water Sunday. 6-yr-old Ethan has been missing since then.

Don't be fooled into thinking this is rare. I once reported that a school laid off staff because it FORGOT TO BALANCE THE BOOKS @ the end of the year & couldn't find the $. The district threatened to stop running public notices (big source of $ for small papers) in retaliation.
