Last thought before attempting to go to bed: if Americans are willing to reelect Trump after everything he’s said in the past three months, there’s nothing Harris could’ve done.
With everything that's gone on in the last decade, someone really needed to write a book on spinosaurs, and so we did. Thanks to @JimSpim for making it happen, and @OneChapterMore for representing us.

Pleasing trip to Foyles, Waterloo. A spot of guerilla bookshelf improvement, obviously. My books can and must be prominent. Ended up buying this by way of penance. His last book was a masterpiece. Dust jacket of this one - magnificent. @AllenLaneBooks
Note for the many media outlets gloating about Boris Johnson's steep slump in sales; good news, yes, but no, his publisher (HarperCollins) are not desperately trying to recoup their advance. This will have been priced in, and they don't care. Thanks.
I am at @FarnhamTownFC 's excellent Mead Lane ground. This is as good as non-league gets - great ground cut out of an escarpment, high-end food (beef brisket - no good for me but still), drummers, friendliness, dogs, and a crowd of a thousand-odd. Superb. @Horndean_Utd

Delighted to have been included in @WildlifeMag 's list of Best Nature Books 2024, alongside such greats. One Garden Against the World is not only described as 'wonderful', but wonderful in *italics*. I like this detail very much BBC Wildlife, thank you!!! discoverwildlife.com/apple-n…
I'm at #newscientistlive. Enjoying a lot of hardcore astronomy. Way out of my depth on quarks. Looking forward to @juleslhoward talking about eggs very much.
