I was randomly perma-banned from
@CallofDuty #MWII after a hacker threatened me (when I said I'd report him) after a Shipment match & 3 days after grinding out Orion, with an instant appeal rejection (I filled out nearly all of the 10k provided text explaining) on 5-13. My steam account is roughly 19yrs old with 0 priors. 19! I've been fighting support cases with no updates since 7-13. I've tried going through EVERY POSSIBLE Official channel, even going as far as cold-emailing Activision Central-Tech staff on LinkedIN.
As a Partnered Streamer & in my 14-15 years streaming, I've NEVER broken ANY rules in online games. I've ALWAYS stood vehemently against cheating & in fact, used to help
@Activision by DMing suspect players which are STILL in my DMs with
@ATVIAssist. I simply DO NOT agree with, support, or participate in cheating, but they remove your voice & ability to communicate.
To this date, I've NEVER had a warning about my conduct in ANY game. I've never been banned in ANYTHING. To this date, not a single warning in ANY Call of Duty. I logged on to play like normal & was greeted by this message, which is the LAST time I've played.
I'm not some criminal & I'm concerned if I purchase MWIII that I'll get banned for nothing too. Disregarding the bots that will auto reply to this, can nobody out here actually assist
@Dexerto @charlieINTEL? I've even asked IW Dev friends to help, who've tried, but can't since "Central Tech" handles everything now. (that's how I know what a Central Tech even is)
I abhor my tone in this post, but I've done everything by the book, yet can't seem to get a human to look at the facts, nor someone to care enough to help me out & it's maddening. I can't play with my Community, Colleagues, Events, Fundraisers, or Friends. I can't even play the Single Player campaign! If I were a larger Creator, this would have been fixed instantly.
It takes MINIMAL effort by any CM, Dev, or related employee with proper credentials, who can circumvent the wall I'm hitting & have enough empathy to reach out to help me resolve this. I've done EVERYTHING possible NOT to ask. I don't want to simply buy a new account, I've worked hard & spent WAY TOO MANY hours on my own account, DOING NOTHING to deserve this. It's already been two months & 1.5 Seasons that I've missed.
Activision's support
@ATVI_AB has also been extremely unhelpful. I finally had someone send my case to a Supervisor, after MONTHS, who literally responded by telling me "I can confirm your account is banned" & linked me to the Security & Enforcement Policy. They didn't look at a single thing I wrote or provided!
I've missed SO much & it's not right or fair. I don't use a controller & the only other thing I can do is toss my computer in the trash, as I have no software & never have had any on here that would be malicious.
I haven't made a video because I don't want to contribute to the already toxic demeanor that exists online towards
#CallofDuty.
@DEXB0T @CargleS @ShanieceSaysHey @FoxhoundFPS there's no way either of you are okay with this? It doesn't have to be a public spectacle, I just need some help, I'm confident any logs will exonerate me. I work with developers all the time & have an immaculate record.
I find it incredibly deplorable that I have to resort to publicly posting, nearly begging for someone to simply look at the facts due to the lack of options & negligence regarding my appeal text (nobody read it as it was instantly denied) & nobody at Activision Support
@ATVIAssist bothered to read the supplied information or evidence / screenshots.
I'm embarrassed that the system is designed to make the player this helpless & in my case, 14-15 years of a clean record streaming publicly, fundraising for St. Jude while playing Call of Duty, having a nearly 19 year old Steam account with ZERO priors & established rapport in the Industry with related developers mean absolutely nothing at all.
Concluding, I'm sorry to anyone who had to see this, or read this, but if you know me, you know how unjust & wrong this situation is. I'm sorry anyone had to see this post, because it IS embarrassing, my demeanor (having to prove my innocence in front of my colleagues, community & network, despite having an immaculate record) is embarrassing. It's WRONG & should NEVER have happened. There should be options for those wrongfully accused when the system itself (Ricochet) is not 100% full-proof.
