Ive had so many kind comments about my invisible cloak analogy regarding behaviour @MidwiferyForum North West event that I’ve made this drawing #Art of the cloak using my favourite flowers daisies , buttercups and lavender - inspired by @Sonia_Sparkles ❤️
“Behaviour is an invisible cloak that you think nobody can see… Embroider your cloak with love, kindness, goodwill, integrity, truth and honour” @JennytheM See the full video: youtu.be/RnmUp1GY8yY @TPM_Journal #midwiferyforum #leadership #midwifeledcare #thursdaythoughts

Thankyou to everyone who has already submitted written evidence to our Parliamentary inquiry on birth trauma. Due to the high volume of submissions and also requests for extra time to submit even more stories, today I am extending our call for evidence by an additional fortnight.

It's #TimeToTalk about #PerinatalMentalHealth at every appointment. We want maternal mental health check-ins to be as standard as taking blood pressure. With 70% of expectant and new mums hiding how they really feel, it's so important that we normalise the conversation.
