Gavin Newsom signs new CA law stopping investigations into ELECTION FRAUD by making it a FELONY to investigate election discrepancies.
The new law requires a court order, or specific authorization, for anyone, including law enforcement, to access or seize ballots, voter rolls, or election equipment.
The felony comes with up to 3 years in prison $1,000 fine to unlawfully remove ballots or materials from election officials’ custody.
The White House and Sheriff Chad Bianco fired back calling it "the most crazy thing," straight-up blocking fraud probes after his 650K-ballot seizure.
This law directly links to Sheriff Chad Bianco's February 2026 seizure of 650,000 ballots from the November 2025 special election, Prop 50 redistricting measure, in Riverside County.
611,000 ballots were submitted/hand-counted but nearly 650,000 votes were certified, a 46,000-vote gap.
Bianco launched a criminal investigation and seized the ballots. California courts, including the Supreme Court, quickly halted the investigation and ordered the ballots returned, blaming the discrepancy on a "data error" once again benefitting Democrats.
