It’s been so difficult & sad to realise that 3 years on from my experience of there being no services or facilities to support me in MH crisis & a lack of appropriate care options - this is still the case & hasn’t changed. The trauma from that time still affects me…

@ndht can you pls tell me if/when Salaried Dental Service will be seeing patients. Our autistic boy needs sedation for 3 fillings & been waiting since Feb, hes in severe pain, doesnt understand it & nerve starting to show. Now has abscess, told today cant yet be seen due to covid

usually they prioritise minors and still should be in this climate of Covid. This also shows lack of understanding of Autism still 😦 You may well have to shout louder for someone to listen .

@GDC_UK @NHSEngland can anybody tell me when an autistic child requiring special care dentistry will be able to receive treatment? My boy has needed 3 fillings since Feb, is in severe pain & now also has an abscess - told cant treat due to covid @AnnaKennedy1 #specialcaredentist
