When you've been in the mil for 25years and a civilian employee (more senior) with no military background makes you feel that you're the one in the wrong because they don't understand how the military works/takes/thinks...even though they've been in a while themselves.

I guess we'll now see if single-issue champions can hold more than one thought in their head and manage the complexity of local government. Perhaps they can. It feels like compassion and neighbourly behaviour is a luxury that some in the UK believe we can't afford.

Most concerning is that attackers read our policies more than we do!
