I started Time4Learning in 2004 to help families homeschool, to simplify the basics. Families start homeschooling for diverse reasons (health, violence, bullying) but they stay for one: they think it's the best for their children & family. #homeschooling time4learning.com

"Homeschoolers and I share a vision that the best education for children caters to the children’s pace, strengths, challenges, and interests." This article, despite the very-glossy pictures, includes a great interview. voyagemia.com/interview/dail…

I'm reading a significant 10 page contract. #lawyers What's the LEGAL significance of having a paragraph in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS? Does it have any legal significance? It makes it hard to read and of course, IT FEELS LIKE THEY ARE YELLING.

Yikes. You can listen to a podcast with me on it. Learn my views on #homeschooling and #K12education. I think formal education has a lot to learn from the success of homeschoolers. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

And here's one where there is both a written and audio version. It's both me and Dana Bryson of Study.com

In some ways, I prefer written interviews since I'm better able to say what I think it's important. Less personality, more clarity. Which are you better at? Written: voyagemia.com/interview/dail… Verbal: linkedin.com/video/event/urn… #homeschooling #PR

Just heard: "Children today have no skills at alphabetizing" A teacher realized that even in upper elementary, students haven't learned how to do it with any efficiency. Question: Does it matter? Is it a useful skill going forward? Related to an important algorithmic habit?

It's almost #backtohomeschool time! Are you excited? The beginning of a new homeschool year should be exciting rather than stressful, but to get to that point requires some planning. homeschool.com/blog/2020/08/…
