Judge Benny Sagi, president of the Beersheba District Court, was killed in a traffic accident on Route 6 (Highway 6) on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
โค He was riding his motorcycle when he was struck by a vehicle that entered the highway from an off-road/side area and collided with his bike.
โค Paramedics from Magen David Adom found him with critical injuries and no vital signs and pronounced him dead at the scene.
โค Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
