Annual reminder to not let Enlist One and Roundup K salt glyphosate touch when mixing!
Sadly, I've already heard a couple of instances this season where growers had mixing issues with their Enlist 1 and Glyphosate. Both involved induction systems that didn't get a proper rinse of clean water between concentrates. @PioneerSeedsCA #spraysafe

If corn can separate from wheat, we probably get a 10-20 cent recovery. Didn't have July corn challenging contract lows on my bingo card.

Minus the wind / dust and cold temps I’ll take this year 10/10 vs continual wet late April - May! Dry winter and 1.5-2” in last 4 weeks in WCMN and still need a couple more days for some of our ground to truly shape up to plant.

Impressive to watch corn today shrug off the very surprising 2M acre addition per this AM USDA report. Almost 99M acres planted 🤨

Southern Rust making its way into WCMN again over the last couple weeks. Not ideal way to finish. Not horrible yet, but seems to be spreading up the plants pretty quickly. Corn not quite full dent. More worried about an early frost / freeze.

Really smashing the Growing Degrees Units this week. 59 for a high yesterday. 28 GDUs in 5 days.
Our late April to mid May planted crops at 2,000-2,200 GDUs.
~2,400 to black layer on 96-100 RM corn but crop looks behind that due to continually cold saturated soils & WF smoke.
