I don't know who needs to hear this but a number of Japanese officers were executed for war crimes after WWII for executing survivors of attacks, many specifically for killing survivors of naval actions.

I am no Constitutional law expert, but it seems like many Americans know very little about the 1st Amendment. Public school employees can't be fired for speech they make outside of school (Pickering v. Board of Education) and there is no hate speech exception (Matal v. Tam)

The ships involved in the collision depicted in the video are likely the SS Andrea Doria and MS Stockholm, from a 1956 incident off Nantucket, Massachusetts. The Andrea Doria sank after the Stockholm struck it, with lifeboats deployed, matching the video's description. No recent 2025 collisions fit this scenario, suggesting the footage is historical.
