7 years ago when I was the Councillor for Ward 5 a young man stood up at a town hall and provided some of the most insightful feedback I’ve received. It’s been a pleasure watch him grow since. Can’t wait to see what @JordanCGray does next. #Mississauga is proud of you!
Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau was on our beautiful campus this morning to offer a congratulatory address to all graduates of Canadian post-secondary institutions. He was joined by 4 great students including @Carleton_U graduate @JordanCGray. Congratulations Class of 2020!

We are taking some major steps to decrease and stifle organized auto thefts in the Greater Toronto Area. Since taking office, I have been fighting relentlessly for community safety and well-being, so thank you to all my colleagues for today’s new multi-jurisdictional strategy.
I hear from residents every day about the profound negative impact auto theft has on our community. Minister @DLeBlancNB’s announcement that the CBSA’s will deploy a scanner in the GTA, combined with increased container examinations at the CN intermodal hub in Brampton, marks a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to combat this pervasive issue. By enhancing our ability to detect and prevent the illegal export of stolen vehicles, we are not only protecting the property of our residents but also disrupting the revenue streams of organized crime. This initiative reflects our commitment to multi-jurisdictional collaboration and the safety of our city. I extend my gratitude to our federal partners for recognizing the urgency of this matter and providing new tools to help address it.

I didn’t inherit a family political dynasty or the family business. Instead, I followed the old formula: get an education and work hard. I want that old formula to work again for every person in Ontario, and I’m ready to work even harder to make it happen. #onpoli #cdnpoli
