Waterloo Columbus and Grundy Center played baseball at Target Field in Minneapolis today following a Twins-White Sox Game. Grundy Center prevailed 6-4. A very cool experience for two Iowa high school baseball programs. The @ChadHarberts was hard at work covering the game for the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. What season is it? It's always Football season and the @AmerRiversConf schedules are now finalized. Our SGI team ranked the non-con games this fall that jumped off the page and ranked them using our SGI Rocky ranking system. SUPER huge kudos to Wartburg for scheduling the three toughest non-con games ever! The defending natty champs (UWRF and North Central who has won 4 nattys in six years). They also decided WTF lets play top 25 Momouth. Coe got last years natty champs and powerful UW Oshkosh. The Spartans show no fear getting powerhouse UW Stout and UW Platteville. All Three Schools say bring it. Kudos to those programs....as for the rest of the A-R-C?

One of our three SGI Founders has officially pulled his name from the Transfer Portal and resigned his SGI NIL contract for the next 12 months. Huge News as Super Hawk @blenny10 reconsidered his decision to move to Nebraska. @JordanCole43 and I are happy to announce that we have retained Ghost as a key part of the growing SGI team for 2026. It was a laborious back and forth negotiation that included Free Cheeseburgers, Cold Beverages, and significant Spousal pressure (Thank you Maddie). We had to make some concessions to Ghost's strange demands - like writing "Kirk Ferentz is a Great Coach" on the blackboard 50 times😀 In spite of our misgivings and moral objections for much of our team we did it. You do what you have to do to retain sought after portal talent. #Pleaserespectmydecision Awesome to have Ghost remain in the SGI Stable along with our ever-growing fun-loving team @BowserVPSA @ChadHarberts @mschrocka @WJReyerson @BrianDutler.
