John Healey has resigned as defence secretary over the failure to provide more money for defence
He says that Starmer and Reeves have been ‘unwilling to commit the resources the nation needs to defend the country at this time of rising threats’
He says that he is ‘certain’ that a target for spending 3% of GDP on defence in 2030 must be set but says the settlement falls ‘well short of what is required for defence and the country at this dangerous time’
‘I would not be able to accept a DIP settlement that does not give our forces the resources they need’

The colouring in was corrected at 5am. They didn't tell anyone and so cars were parked on the humps. There is at least one half painted hump. Very very stupid

Merton council resurfaced our road wonderfully (it didn't really need it).....they put the humps in....the road markings are, lets say slapdash - they've spray painted the humps with arrows, looks like someone has been colouring in
