Cost of 3 games a week on TSN =$25
Cost of 1 game a week on DAZN = $25
A legitimate rip off in every sense of the word. Not even close to value for your dollar.
You wouldn't pay the cost of 3 items for one item in any other scenario, regardless of the money it makes.
Can’t wait to see the numbers. And although some fans won’t be pleased about having to sign up for a streamer to watch games on Saturday, definitely a plus for the league in that many younger fans already have DAZN for NFL and soccer.

Apples to oranges here. There is no comparing the NHL to the CFL. The NHL can lose a hundred thousand fans and no one would even notice. The CFL owners will care if fan engagement drops b/c of SJ and the rule changes. I’m not boycotting like others, I’m just saying. 🤷🏼♀️

They're so frustrated with blatant rip off's being called out and awful formats and rules being ragged on, they've moved to admitting the quiet part out loud.
The only thing the league cares about is money. If the product is sub par, or american, they don't care. Bag secured.

So Gary Bettman gets booed and has been the NHL commish for 33 years, but the owners love him as he grows the league & generates revenue. So those who think Stewart Johnston is going to be swayed by name calling or boos, he is doing what the owners hired him to do #CFL

The NHL is a professional league. Billions of dollars in revenue. The CFL is not. Before the DAZN deal they were hand out have nots.
Fyi Chris, this is why we hate Stewart. The arrogance to tell us he can do whatever he wants to our league and we just have to shut up and deal.

It's so funny they have this attitude but clutch pearls whenever somebody is honest about what a Joke the CFL has become.
"Boo all you want it doesn't matter they're making money," is crazy.
It is why people need to get like me and stay home until the league respects us.

Forever Canada asked for the same legislative vote and clarified multiple times they did not want a referendum.
They had their question bastardized and put on the ballot anyways.

She probably assumed the referendum box would’ve been checked on the paperwork which it wasn’t. Why wouldn’t he check that box if he wanted on the ballot?

if Premier Smith does not allow the
Water Not Coal referendum question to go ahead as is, 177,000 Albertans will never vote UCP. It is doubtful any of the 450,000 ABs who signed the Forever Canada petition will either. She loses votes every day.

Danielle Smith said that if Albertans collected enough signatures, she would allow a referendum on coal mining in the Rockies. Now that Albertans have collected more than that number, it looks like she’s reneging on that promise. She’ll help the separatists, but obstruct others.

This is an example of two leagues who charge and offer services based on the value they put out.
Harder than putting everyone in a playoff, bastardizing rules to make them appealing to americans, or gouging fans with the most expensive service possible.
Harder, but far better.
