USA. A Mexican restaurant. We had not yet ordered anything, and the food was already arriving. Chips. Salsa. Unrequested. Free. I stopped the waiter. "We have not earned these." "They just come with the table, man." They come with the TABLE. In my land, hospitality is a debt. Every gift creates an obligation, weighed carefully, returned in the proper season with interest of feeling. Here, the gift arrives before you have even proven you can pay for dinner. This is not an appetizer. This is a declaration: we trust you. Eat. I ate with the gravity the moment deserved. And then — I must report this calmly — the basket emptied, and a new one appeared. "Did we…?" "Refill," the waiter said. "It's bottomless." Bottomless. They have wells of salsa. The supply lines of this nation are beyond anything my ancestors imagined. My friend warned me. "Don't fill up on chips, dude." Too late. I had accepted three baskets. Honor demanded each one be finished — an unfinished gift is an insult. By the time my actual food arrived, I was a ruined man. I was not hungry. I was not comfortable. I had been defeated by a courtesy. Generosity that arrives before the request cannot be repaid. It can only be survived. I know the rule now. I have made my peace with the basket. One basket. Two at the most. Who am I deceiving. There is no number of baskets I would refuse. The trust of a nation is in that salsa, and I intend to honor all of it.

Chevron CEO Mike Wirth says the global energy market now may be able to absorb the Strait of Hormuz disruption until early September. He is waiting on incorporating the Iran agreement into his view until it is signed and actions are taken according to it

Iran IRGC leadership is saying the quiet part out loud. They are not laying the groundwork for a peace agreement. They are buying time to resupply before a larger scale war. x.com/i/status/2065777383177…

Khorasan newspaper, an official outlet close to Iran's Parliament Speaker and chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, openly published that a potential deal with the U.S. is not a settlement. They explicitly called it a “breathing space to rebuild offensive and defensive combat power and prepare for the final, full-scale battle”. This is the smoking gun. When they sign a document, they are not investing in peace; they are buying time to weaponize and prepare for a global catastrophe. The West is funding its own ultimate destruction.

The "warmth of collectivism" - celebrating civilian mass murder x.com/i/status/2062683274808…

Zohran Mamdani just endorsed Darializa Avila Chevalier for Congress. On October 8th, 2023, while Jews were still being slaughtered, raped, kidnapped, and hunted across southern Israel, she attended the "All Out For Palestine" rally in NYC. Some clips:

Trump broke his promise, got tens of thousands of civilians murdered, and is now going to great lengths to distract us from this.

Capitulation by another name? x.com/i/status/2065862481566…

This is simply not the case: “In fact, they no longer want a Nuclear Weapon…” “No cash will exchange hands” — this ignores the oil waivers and releases from frozen assets worth billions to the regime. My advice: don’t oversell any deal the way the Obama administration did.
